I sat this one out …but had 23 cards in its auction exceeding my expectations by $15,000.
My 1962 Carl Yastrzemski PSA-9 and 1962 Willie McCovey PSA-9 set record prices for the given grade at $9900 and $3840, respectively. I almost pulled the McCovey…it was absolutely gorgeous (centered w/o a tilt) …the Yaz had a slight tilt.

A couple of notable prices at this early hour:

1986 Fleer Michael Jordan frenzy returns …$372,000!
1965 Topps Wax Box (2nd, 3rd and 4th Series packs in 24-pack wax box…Adolph Rupp son’s collection) $336,000!

Congratulations. How did the '63 Ford do? Looks like you're going to have another successful auction experience with that '74 Schmidt. I hope you crush it!!

Congrats Monte! Cards that are high end for the grade with exceptional centering are going to continue to do really well, IMO.

completely forgot to bid and fell asleep. I would have bid on a few packs. But I loved that 1968 cello with Seaver. I would have bid on it. Never seen one like that one

Memory Lane has some unreal 1962 Topps in PSA-9.
Eye candy for sure. Congrats on your sale.

Did not win anything. Underbidder on two cards (hate being the underbidder because you have no idea how much you actually lost by). Prices on what I was watching were strong. Did better with Memory Lane and REA.

Congrats on the sales. Was that your '62 Frank Robinson 8 as well? I remember you had a strong 8 you were offering here. I was an early bidder but dropped out after it passed through $4k. I was going after a few of the vending box lots but got outbid on the '76-78 at the end. I didn't want to go too strong on those because they are always a crapshoot if they aren't FASC.

    gemint…

Yes…it was my ‘62 Frank Robinson. Not easy to part with that card…but I need to pay off some debt.
