Maybe its the lighting, but your last picture suggests the coin might be covered in pvc.

Looks like a S4,(1869/9) not an S3 (1869/69). MS63BN
Pretty sure it’s a S-4; grade 62BN. Nice pickup!

Maybe it's my phone, but looks 53 to 55 to me.
To me it looks like an AU58 that has been stored in a less than great environment for a long period.
