PCGS Grades//Trueviews arrived

Grades posted Monday and coins arrived yesterday. Around 42-45 business days depending how you count and whether coins are required to be in hand. Eleven coins graded- all straight graded- 6 have been shared including the 1895 Zs 8R in this thread. This coin has what I consider to be an above average strike with slight PL surfaces. The Guatemala 4R and 2R coins were added to the 1816 8R thread to promote "Forum and subject thread economy" as to not take up too much space.

Nice work if you bought all those raw!

All purchased raw- it is part of my collecting objective of trying to seek out "the look" at specific grades. With tough coins with a small surviving population, the real challenge is knowing when to compromise. I really do not think the rarity and condition rarity of coinage from various reigns or countries is simply not often understood or appreciated as to what that means.

Nice coin and that photo is better than average as of late. Congrats on the results.

MS66 taste on an MS63 budget.
