Momentum fading for Bill to ATL.

The Harbaugh change hes expected to bring the Michigan DC with him. Michigan looks like theyre expected to promote within which will stop the transfer portal chaos if they do. Michigan players now have 30 days to leave if they want

Good hire for the Chargers. I hope he fails there. They deserve to lose for leaving San Diego

I find it hilarious that nobody is interested in Belichick

I wonder if he is done?

It wouldn't surprise me one bit if nobody hires him due to the animosity he caused during his 20 year reign of terror over the league, that and his god complex getting blown up and his utter failure without Brady.

Bill might not get a job

i can practically hear the ATL interview now

"you're 70-93 and have won 1 playoff game in 10 seasons as a head coach when Tom Brady was not your starting quarterback. Tom Brady is not going to be your starting quarterback here. i need you to tell me why on earth even a shitty franchise like ours should hire you?"

then after 5 seconds of mumbling and murmuring in monotone

"ok i think we're done here"

you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet

Seriously, that pretty much sums it up in a nutshell.

I sincerely don't believe he will get a HC job

in fairness, i inadvertently omitted the Matt Cassel year

so it's 81-98 and 1 playoff win in 11 seasons without Brady

miniscule chance a team will get the type of return they are looking for on the massive investment it will require to get him. especially now that he's up there in age and the game has clearly passed him by.

complete and utter insanity it would be to hire Belichick. but I bet some sucker franchise will

you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet

@perkdog, being realistic and disposing of fantasy interviews, it may be simple. What is impeding the hiring of Bill Belichick might be his age coupled with what are probably his demands for control over all aspects of the franchise. He may not be willing to serve only as a Head Coach. Too much ego and not enough humility may doom his chances anywhere.

My thought is that if no team hires him prior to the 2024 season he is probably done.

Possibly it could be that simple but then again it could be the owners want to stuff it in his rear end too.

    Both scenarios are entirely plausible

Bill Belichick could remain free agent as Falcons head coach job is 'wide open': report

.....only two other teams besides the Falcons still haven’t filled their spot: the Washington Commanders and Seattle Seahawks.

Seahawks wouldnt make any sense. They would have just let Carrol keep going instead of moving to the front office if they were fine with a 70+ year old. Washington is his only real option left and he likely wants full control which they would be foolish to give him

Falcons hiring Raheem Morris as their new head coach.

  • "Bill Belichick reportedly wants a quieter atmosphere at his next destination.

It might be why the ex-Patriots head coach has only interviewed with one team, and why interest in him appears to be somewhat tepid."
The Read between the lines here is "Belichick won't find another NFL job."
"Only interviewed with one team." That's the only people who gave him even lip service.

There may be more better choices next year. Dallas,if they bomb next year, for one. And can be sure others will open up.

I dont think its necessarily better or worse other than probably not having to fire the GM over it. Ill withhold judgement until the draft and see what they do there
