    Those are small die chips and they are common. ;)

    No added value.

    Those are die chips you're looking at. Cuds are on the rim of coins. A cud on a coin is a damaged area resembling a blob at the edge of the coin. Cuds result from a piece of the perimeter of the die breaking away. They can be any shape depending on the shape of the piece that broke off the die.

    So as I continue looking on my nickels, I come across another die chips of the same year and with the same locations. See the pictures attached.

    Those are indeed die chips.

    Consider how many you have found in just a few days. That's a good explanation of why they have no added value.
