Looks like a box dollar
Agree about the box dollar, it appears there is a seam around the rim on the reverse.
We have a winner! It wasn't NGC in this case, though.

Oops!
I have to wonder if they didn't holder the wrong coin in a submission and sent a perfectly good AU 76-S back in a body bag.

Wow, NGC. Just wow. From experience I can tell you that anyone missing this is inept - the weight in your hand is completely different
Wow!
Lol, clearly a box dollar. There's no way the weight is right. How are they not weighing every single Trade Dollar before grading?
Sell it.😈
Type collector, mainly into Seated. -formerly Ownerofawheatiehorde. Good BST transactions with: mirabela, OKCC, MICHAELDIXON, Gerard
I know. It should have felt wrong right away. I also would never have graded this AU50, which is why I wonder if someone encapsulated the wrong coin in the submission. It sold on eBay shortly before I posted it for far more than AU50 money, so I think the bidders knew what they were doing.
