Great Ebay Deal on Rose Rookie

The listing is cleverly worded enough to get 14 watchers. The word Original is stated in the header listing. Under the section Item Specifics the seller chose the word Original instead of Reprint. In the Item Description it states 'card is an original and licensed reprint' which is the only mention of it being a Reprint. Interesting no pic of the card back included. I think 14 watchers are not reading the listing completely. A reprint of this card goes for ~ $3. Seller is open to an offer though.

I wonder if the back is where all the pink is based on the description???
"original and licensed reprint with a pink parallel/variety"
In the late 80's there was a large group of counterfit / reprint Rose rookies and they were famously stamped on the back in pink / red. At the time, they even had a little bit of collectability. I assume this speciman is one of those.

I had not heard of this pink parallel. Thanks for the image. Regarding the Ebay listing I think the seller should have included a pic of the card back to substantiate his listing. That and choosing it as Original in the Item Specifics section smells fishy.
Looks fake to me.
I think the wording alone is a major red flag. No back pic another. It's a best offer listing. Seller did decline my offer of $1.

My understanding is a number of those counterfeits were not stamped on the back like that.
Perhaps from another counterfeiter?
Besides, that stamp appears to me like it was made from a hand held stamp using ink from an ink pad, after the card was offset printed. Perhaps I'm incorrect about that.
It smells like a scam. I used Contact the Seller a few days ago about the wording discrepancies, and to plz add pic of card back. No reply.
To good to be true = well to good to be true
Unless it is an actual 1963 card, it won't pass Ebay authentication based on the title.
That crossed my mind too. I like jay0791's comment that he offered $1 and it was declined. Made me laugh.
Too good to be true = here's another one on Craigslist. I clicked on Reply and got the pop up 'An Error has Occurred'.
