Can anyone help with information and value for this GW Medal?
Under the bust is marked Lovett Phila…Seems rather crudely made, Dated 1860

Its a birth and death medal. If its white metal its Baker 135c. My 25 yo book says $150 in xf
Dies were engraved by Robert Lovett Jr
Some more info on Baker 135C.
Thank you @jughead1893 !
Yes white metal, appreciate the help
And @MetroD !!
The updated Musante # is GW-354; it is called the Fideli Certa Merces medal. It is a scarce medal in any metal but the silver (unique! - $13,200) and white metal are listed as the most elusive... but reviewing the seven major auction records for the piece in white metal the prices realized don't seem to support the values listed in the GW price guide (with one outlier, the 2019 Baltimore sale of course).
See here - http://rlovettjr.blogspot.com/p/washington-birth-death.html. The GW price guide is way off, I have never seen a white metal piece sell for more than $384 for an NGC MS61. And my records show bronze pieces selling for more than white metal although they seem to appear with the same frequency.
