I Just received the Goldberg auction catalogs

I know I'm new at this, I've only been collecting for 67 years. But can someone explain to me why, on TPG graded coins they don't have the cert numbers included?
I have talked to them many times in the past about this and they still don't do it. I have to call them to request the cert number on lots that I think I would be interested in.
I need to do my due diligence on the coins and without the cert I can't.
What is the problem?
Opinions?
Thanks,

Are the slab pics included in the on line catalogue for which you could derive the cert number?

I’m not a fan of that auction house.

They do not want you to trace the price history of the coin.

I agree, but the funny thing is, it works both ways. Sometimes I look into the price history of a coin and realize I need to pay up because it has sold at a premium to peers in the past. I find myself bidding very conservatively with Goldberg given the lack of cert number and the horrible pics.

I have more fun when I realize I'm paying less than the previous owner. Actually with the last win I paid less than the last three owners!

I only pay up when I can justify to myself that the coin is still undervalued.

I miss a lot of coins; but, that's OK as it keeps my wife happy.

I guess I will call and get the cert numbers on just 2 coins that I'm interested in and hope nobody else does and I can find a bargin.............
