I think $32 and change was a fair price, right? Has it really been 55 years since UK's 1000th win and Rupp's 800th win (as well as getting into the HOF that same year)?

I also sometime early last year got (for about the same) price a neat three coin set (including two silvers, one being gold plated) celebrating Kentucky's 1992 Bicentennial! This one isn't mine, it's just to show what it looks like (mine is #1262):

I don't suppose there's any other neat UK or Kentucky coins I should know about? For example, those bronze(?) schedule coins they did for both basketball and football look quite interesting!

Based solely on your icon, it is a fair price especially if you value the enjoyment of owning it.

If not, skip coffee for two weeks and you break even...

I only drink the standard issue homebrewed Kroger Supreme Blend...NOT that fancy designer takeout kind!

But I figure in both cases these should be worth what I paid just for the silver content alone, or pretty close?

I suspect that there are other Kentucky Alumni that would like to own it as it is not about silver, but the Wildcats... and we'll leave it at that.

Well for this Kentucky alumnus I've also got a bit of silver fever (and my late wife's favorite Christmas special was Rudolph and we all know what Yukon Cornelis was looking for!) too so I get the best of both worlds!

Yes sir! At one time he had the record for most wins, most NCAA championships (until that John Wooden guy came along), and never had a losing season (1967 they just broke even)! Not to mention the REAL Fab Five of 1948 won us not only our first NCAA championship but also the Olympic gold medal!

I've had my eye on these for awhile and I finally found a good starter set of these neat UK schedule coins (about the size of an Ike dollar) from the mid-late 80s! Question though, are these bronze or brass?
