I am trying to register with this auction company and I have never seen a request for a passport number. Is anyone here a member and can tell me what exactly are they asking for in terms of information?

I can't imagine it can be my Canadian passport no one has ever asked me that in my entire life.

    However, reread the small print carefully.
    I rather not bid than give my PP info. (same Co recognized the risk and eventually said ok...)

    Yeah I did not sign up. I am simply not comfortable giving out that information.

    Have you tried;
    Cayon Subastas
    Jesus Vico

    I never have been on an auction, these appear when I do a search a lot of times and are located in Spain, I not going to paste the url link to avoid a possible put on hold to review, but can be easy to find via google like in my case.

    Maybe these also will end up asking the same or DNI/CIF/NIE/NIF/VAT aka SS in the USA
