One active thread for buying and one for selling is what I understand the rules to be.
If true, I'll follow it. I just now read the rules and didn't see it.
If you want anyone to buy from you, you will respect the rules...written and unwritten. What would stop someone from posting 25 ads a day and bumping every hour? It's easy to consolidate your ad into a single post and bump once per day.

I'll respect the rules, but I never heard about an "unwritten" rule that limits posts. Your "25 ads a day" example is just silliness.
It IS NOT silliness. It's just common courtesy.
Offending our very sensitive members which are everyone will not help in selling anything.

It’s been an unwritten rule as long as I can remember, and I’ve been here 22+ years. One selling and one buying post per member per day, whether it’s a new thread or a bump of an existing one. If you have multiple items, put them in one post or don’t list/bump them on the same day so everyone gets equal time near the top of the BST.
