I know! I mean they as well as video game consoles, electronics, and appliances are like people, right? It's what's inside that counts!

I'm glad that they do. I just hope the parents are wise enough to teach their kids that these thermos must be washed out and cleaned thoroughly as often as possible. Otherwise it becomes a germ utopia.

Everyone would like to see less plastic bottles in the waste system. But an important function of these disposable bottles is that it also disposes of the germs which accumulated in it.

For example lets say at school the kid brought in their Stanley Cup filled with fresh water which is great. But let's say that the school served fish for lunch. Well when eating something and then drinking from the thermos, at least some particles of food are going to windup in the thermos. Something such as fish with a fast bacteria growth rate, if the kid leaves the thermos unwashed in their locker, and then fills it up the next day with water, the poor kid is going to be consuming a nightmare of active germs and it won't be pretty.

I knew at the time the Beanie Baby thing was a joke...in terms of actually expecting most of them to be "worth something someday". I think a collection/pile of them was the subject of a Judge Judy case IIRC!
