Fun Bullion NEWPs: Classic US designs in 2oz of high relief silver
I've always liked high relief designs, and when this half dozen popped up on the BST a few weeks ago, they looked like a fun way to get some silver. Each one is 2oz (very thick) and struck in very high relief. As you can see, the designs are either copies of or inspired by some of the classics of US coinage. No, nothing earth shattering here, but a fun little pickup.

Those look really nice, and in general do a good job of representing the designs. The Morgan deviates a little with a reverse that looks like it's based on a 1921 issue, and the interesting "fabric" of Liberty's cap. Still, they look like a pretty way to hold some silver.
Here are a few of the ones I have picked up from Intaglio Mint (Limited Mintage website). Pretty cool stuff, just wish they could get slabbed at one of the companies.

I've always liked the National Park Foundation Saint-Gaudens commemorative pieces. They mix-and-match from unused Saint-Gaudens sketches for various coins he worked on.
The Winged Liberty is very nice in Ultra High Relief:
Those are cool, especially the early Federal designs.
Great Photos!
Yes indeed those are a fun way to stack some .999 Silver!
The High relief designs are certainly Beautiful and since the design is changed in some way (to include 2 troy oz .999 Silver) it doesn't need the obligatory Copy Stamp that a perfect replica would need under the Hobby Protection Act.
It's all about what the people want...
