I purchased this set in Remy Bourne Auction 9 Lot 438 (April 9-10, 1999).
The PR says I paid $2844 for the lot plus about $500 for shipping.

If anyone wants to make me an offer on this, feel free to do so.
I am in New Jersey and it would be much simpler to do an in-person pickup or delivery rather than ship it.

The condition is exactly as it was when I received it. If anyone is interested, I would be glad to send photos.

The original lot included issues up to 1999, but I can bring it up to date with unbound issues.

Here is the lot description from the original auction:

The Numismatist. American Numismatic Association.

1888-1978 Uniformly bound in black buckram, gilt. As new.
1888-1893, Volume 1-6 is the 1966 complete reprint.
Volumes 7-15 photocopies that have been carefully reproduced to match the originals as close as possible and bound by year set.
1909 through 1978 are original bound sets.
1979 to current date are unbound.

Not everyone can afford an original set of The Numismatist. Here is a set any owner would be proud to place on their library shelf. Total of 92 bound volumes with matching bound indexes. 1888 to 1972 are bound as separate volumes, from 1973 to 1978 two volumes per year are bound from January-June & July- December. Remainder from 1979 to date are not bound. We have the first two volumes are on hand for lot viewing, the balance of the set to be shipped directly from Ken Hallenbeck to you.

Treat this set as a gift to yourself to hold and use at any time for reading, research or for sheer relaxation. Spend many pleasurable hours over the years finding a myriad of different topics of interest. (2,000.00)
