Have been watching eBay for a while for a 1995W 70DCAM/UCAM Silver Eagle. Saw some listed tonight for $1….with a caveat that bids were NOT accepted, only a direct contact with the seller on a Buy It Now price in the description. I ran a few of the NGC numbers and they all appear to be fake labels…..BEWARE OUT THERE….this individual has quite a few coin postings on eBay…..

And here is the kicker…….

I saw these listings come up as well and came here to see if it was already posted.
Sad.
Reported some listings but there’s a lot.
I’ve turned several in also. NGC site shows slab numbers with totally different inserts on many… You’re right….sad.
This scammer is the same one as before, with a slightly different tactic. I just threatened eBay with a lawsuit for refusing to remove a coin I own. I don't need someone buying my coin from them and then thinking I stole it from the mail and have it ending up as court evidence.

My Purchase:
Earlier this evening I asked eBay if it is acceptable to list a buy it now price in the description but not in the listing for the Thorpe medal this guy has listed. Seemed fishy like he was avoiding fees. Have not heard back yet. Operating out of Iowa but listed the price as “1545 US$”. Odd red flag.
I really wonder what coins they are shipping out……..? And if they are sending coins out, where are they getting them?
This is a common eBay scam - stolen account with fake auctions. These pop up on a regular basis. Since payments are direct to scammer there is likely zero recourse for a refund and zero chance of getting the coin you paid for
This is at least the 3rd account for this scammer. I have been reporting him for years since he lists all sorts of stuff including Hot Wheels. I guess the last account finally was banned so they're back with a new one yet again...
They cannot ship them. At least one of them is mine (as detailed above) and another I know is Julian's. They just take the money off site with no recourse from eBay.
This scammer is well known on eBay.
He hacks into dormant accounts and lists everything from furniture to coins.
His accounts have been closed many times by eBay but just reappears under
a different seller. His format is easy to recognize as it is the same on any of his listings.
If you see any of these listings, just ignore them.
Aren't there enough listings so that they would automatically be flagged internally for eBay to check out?

I was wondering the same thing.
Gone..........for now.
