Doc who "discovered" CTE urges Elijah Moore to retire

If you havent seen the neurological reaction Moore exhibited during thursday nights game, perhaps you should check it out. Just saw on the news today that the Dr. who discovered CTE is saying Moore should retire after that brain injury. He said at the very minimum, he needs to sit out the rest of the season and take 3 months off.

I would think it is a difficult choice for a young man to make. Losing out on all the money/fame to hopefully enjoy a longer healthier life. I would agree with the Doc though. Nothing is worth more than time and your health. not even the biggest contract the NFL can offer.

yeah, its pretty bad. a little different than Tua. check it out on youtube. guy had a seizure on the field. the hit was not bad or illegal. the front of his helmet drove into the ground. he rolled over and his arms were convulsing.

I would agree that all the money in the world isn't worth it if your brain and/or body is shot.

Unless ya get some sort of pleasure looking at all those zeros in your bank account, while the nurse as usual spoon feeds the soup to you, because you can't.

I am sure Junior Seau would have done things differently had he known about CTE
