I hope the pictures are good enough to see if it's DDO or MD, split serriffs, right?

Looks split to me, but is it a listed variety by Wexler?

vegas, baby!
Not yet, but want advice before I do anything
I had heard John was having health problems. I thought a read somewhere that he was no longer doing attributions. Not sure if someone else took over his website.

@2fun2Bbad - You might also try CONECA Attribution.
Generally speaking, I believe the TPG'ers need to see documentation from these attributers or see it listed in the Cherrypickers guide before they will slab it. However, you can contact them with pictures and ask.

Thank you so much for your help, maybe it will work out well for everyone.
I looked on Wexlers and it's true they aren't doing attributions, I am praying for John.
There is a note midway down on your linked page from John Wexler as of February 5, 2023 that he is retired and explains the health reasons and that the site will continue.
As far as the original posters coin, it would still need some sharper photos. Those look almost like an image of a screen. It does seem to have some potential. Need more experts to weigh in.

Although these pics at least show something, I'm still in the "probably not" camp.
WinLoseWin might have put a finger on the problem. If this are photos of a monitor, that would explain a lot in terms of the quality. We need CLEAR pictures. A photo of a screen of a photo won't cut it, sorry. Search Google for instructions on how to take screenshots, if that's the issue.
The R and I splits look pretty nice. I agree about the possible coneca submission. Good luck. Peace Roy

Thank you everyone
They are pixelated photos of a screen and thus useless.

The question is there enough evidence to look at the coin in hand to see if it is a new variety or not, right?
Thank you for your time.
