Time to Slab Your DVDs & Blu Ray Disks

Got an email this morning from CGC that now they are slabbing sealed DVDs and Blu-Ray Disks, among other digital media.
But, they already do it to VHS tapes, vintage video games and sneakers.
I find it pretty ridiculous myself.

I mean maybe if you had a gem cd case signed by a dead legend but the rest of the garbage is a money grab for the Pokémon type collector.
On Pawn Stars I think I remember some sealed VHS tapes worth 5 figures. Amazing.

No, I meant it for here, because of how absurd I think it is. Coins, it makes sense, but DVDs and other digital media, seems like no more than a cash grab and to inflate everyday items. Coins, stamps, autographs, trading cards and comics, it makes sense.
Once people start turning 40-50 years old, they start having midlife crises and they want to recapture something from their childhood. Alot of these collectibles are cyclical and popularity will wane once the generation that’s enamored with them from their childhood dies off.
Soon they’re going to be slabbing slabbed DVDs.
