Saw that, it's literally stupid luck

I put a few of those in every week and automatically lose, it's so tough

Good for that guy, nice Christmas present 🎁

Considering a fact such as the great Walter Payton, a hall of fame touchdown machine, didn't score a touchdown for the 1985 Bears when they had 46 points in the Super Bowl, shows that it's not always easy for a particular player to score a touchdown in an NFL game. Then this guy picks 14 out of 14 players to score a touchdown? You are so right, stupid luck beyond belief.

The books doing parlays of the game winners is basically a science at this point, rather than an art. But in developing a parlay such as this, there's a bit of art involved in making sure the odds favor the house. A half-mil hit on a lousy 5 buck bet, is a bit of money even for a DraftKings.

The big shots at DraftKings will of course put on a smiling face congratulating the guy on the win. But I'm sure, today, there is a meeting among them, including the oddsmakers, reviewing whether or not the proper odds to favor the house were given out on this offered bet.

I'm happy for the guy as well. I love it when bookies get clipped. 😆

On the opposite side of luck. My late Uncle, upon losing to a bad beat, used to call it "Sh*those" luck.

On a superfecta bet at the track, I once got nosed out for third and fourth. I had both the third and fourth horses on the ticket, but in the wrong order. They can't post pre-race superfecta payouts, so I don't know exactly what it would have paid, but it may have been over 6 figures, at least very high 5 figures.

It was the tiniest dam nose I've ever seen. I would have been more than happy with a dead heat, and split the pool money.

    "Sh*thouse" luck
