I would like to know if this 1793 large cent is real and was possibly varnished or is it a fake?

    Fake.

    Edit: I’m not sure anymore, the surfaces look good, which is unusual if it’s fake. I would definitely submit this one.

    Count me as a "genuine" vote but hard to be sure from pics.

    Collector and dealer in obsolete currency. Always buying all obsolete bank notes and scrip.
