1964 jefferson nickel error

this nickel is a purplish copper color...my pics aren't that good but it's what I have available right now...I was thinking maybe it has an incorrect alloy composisitiocomposition? any ideas

    Looks to be a normal nickel.

    It's very worn with some environmental damage along the way.

    It could be that the coin has an incorrect alloy composition.

    Or, it could be that the coin got dirty in the 50+ years since it was made.

    @Adam41090 which one of those do you think is the better guess here, and why?

    In that condition, it doesn’t really matter the cause,
    it is still only worth 5 cents.

    Nothing special. It's just a nickel that has seen a lot of circulation and possibly spent some time in a flower bed.
