They outnumber us and they’re changing the language. No wonder the tyros are lost.
This first page…

Screwing around breaks my routine. But all those threads are nuts. I can’t screw with all of them.

    What really sucks is when members pay more attention to those threads than the actual research on these forums.

    I've seen groundbreaking research go off the front page without a comment, and these threads can get to three pages in length.

    Sadly many people are bored and love a good trainwreck, I have been guilty of that myself.

    Sure, I enjoy some chaos. But these blasts interfere too much with my reading. The eBay pocket change offers interfere with my picking, too many to ignore. After the default avatars leave this forum with bad news they post to another forum, and then offer the coins on eBay.

    What does this say? I don’t see this, do you guys see maimed coins in slabs?

    The seller offers it as if details were an asset, and damage means mint error. Extra Fine? Seller asks hundreds.

    I agree, shallow minds are very disappointing.

    I think that one of these is available for under $200.00. I forget which.

    The image of the car accident posted in this thread happened last summer not that far from me in CT. Four folks were injured with two having very serious injuries. I don't recall if they survived.

    This guy is successful. I could find only one of his sold coins that had been returned.

    The pursuit of easy/stupid money knows no bounds.

    P.S. I have an extremely rare 1992 St Gaudins double eagle I may be persuaded to part with for the right price.

    @cladking:
    The discussion in the BU rolls thread sent me searching—I found it!
