I didn't really set out to buy one of these, I just sort of did. In general, I find the Morgan design boring. But this thing in hand is gorgeous. It won't turn me into a Morgan collector, but I really like this coin. Don't harp on the Mint, the "haze" is reflection from a quick cell phone pic.
If we were all the same, the world would be an incredibly boring place.
I think (opinion) that pretty much all of our recent coin designs are horrible, especially the American woman quarters. I mean, what would George Morgan or Adolph Weinman (apologies if I spelled it wrong) think if they were still around to see our current state of affairs? Answer: both would probably have an immediate heart attack and die because of the politicization and ruin of our current coinage system. We should create some old style designs, made without computers for our circulating coins.

Weinman, yes. But, personally, I've never felt that George Morgan's designs were all that impressive. I think if the 2021 Morgan was the 1st year of issue, people would be complaining about the flat, lifeless designs.
The never ever ending 5 Quarter designs a year is far past getting old. The 2021 GWCD was a real nice reverse. The new AWQ series is worse than the state quarter series. I plan to sell the 3-roll sets that I have and cancel my mint subscription too.

Recv’d in change, mid-April, in this condition.
On the contrary, Google is not your friend.
This is a coin. Says so, right on the base of the statue.
Idar quarter reverse, darnfine design.
I have to give the mint props for the designs of the AWQ program.
Bold and imaginative designs. Re-imagining modern coinage design. It’s about time the US join the rest of the world with great designs.

I haven't bought a uncirculated mint set in many years, but I did for 2023.

Fascinating
2023-D 10C with Partial Missing Clad Layer error, 1.97 grams.
Hard to believe—This is the first silver dollar that I have ever owned.
Just another chunk of metal. Not a coin.

Very nice.
"tongue in cheek" thread of the week.
Me too, but they're kind of a pain to carry in your pocket. It confuses the cashiers too. They're always confusing the $10 Nizaris with the $5 Ninja.
Nice! Do you plan to have it slabbed?
Also, are they available by the roll?
Will it fit in an album?
My Adolph A. Weinman signature
It's hard to even see the $5 Ninja at night.
One per roll...
It's actually a mint sealed bag.
Save me some for the car wash and laundry mat. Just in case I can't find any in a parking lot.
