Researching Sites

I have trouble finding sites that are of any worth in my area. I would like to know whether anyone hat any tips for researching sites. Any response is welcome.

    My primary go-to’s are Historicaerials.com and Oldmapsonline.com… HAerials offers a map viewer (click on “viewer”) that you can transpose a recent aerial photo over an older version of the same area using the slide bar. Usually the old maps go back to the 1950’s, so it’s helpful in locating old parks and the configuration of old ball fields, etc….
