Today is December 7th Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.

    I thought the Hiroshima and Nagasaki ending to the story was great.

    I know it may sound weird, but whenever I watch a documentary of this time period and what this enemy did, I still get at least a little bit hissed off. I can only imagine what the American feelings were back then when it happened.

    To keep the thread on topic with sports, one minor negative that came of it, minor being in the overall scheme of things, was that some Hall of Fame players missed many games because of it. They were instead gallantly serving our country. The great Ted Williams comes immediately to mind. The stats he would have likely added on his already tremendous resume would have been staggering, especially because he was in his prime.

    Pearl was that era's 9/11. Both tragic loss of life.
