Value for 1977-1979 topps baseball commons.

I need some assistance. I recently returned to the hobby after being gone for over two decades and I'm trying to find out the value for legit centered 1977-1979 topps baseball commons. I'm trying to pick up some and I have no idea what a fair value would be. Most likely I wll not have them graded but if I do someday I'm looking for commons that would most likely receive a PSA 8 or 9 if submitted.

Does anyone know how much they would cost? I looked on EBAY but the commons that are being graded NM-MT are not close to being legit NM-MT cards. As most of you know there's ample printing defects and off centering for most of the cards from these years. My buddy recently opened up two packs from 1977 and he's only sending two cards to PSA for grading. The rest are ungradable cards.

It’s not that easy to find PSA 9 quality raw cards.

Thanks Paul. What is the current market value for an accurately graded centered NM-MT common from 77-79?

For true NM-MT examples in the range of about $2 a card I'd say, higher for 77s. Problem is most "NM-MT" lots dont truly consist of NM-MT cards.

    2 to 4 dollars a card.

You know I've been sitting on (not literally of course) about 500ish 1977 (mostly) commons around EXMT-NRMT range but I don't reckon they're worth much more than the cost to ship them out right?

Most likely Estil. I have seen thousands of commons from this year in the condition that you have. Finding legit centered NM-MT or better commons is not easy.
