There is value for a 1944 d/s even in that low a grade. I usually check eBay results. The reverse suggests that your coin is vg at best.

There are two varieties of the 1944-D/S OMM. Those varieties are shown at varietyvista. Which of those varieties do you think your coin matches exactly?
If your coin does not match exactly then it is not a D/S.

Not a 1944 D/S, the mint mark is in the wrong position for either OMM-001 or OMM-002.
