Cool new errors

I bought a ladies collection that i met at a show. She told me she was going to call me when she was ready to sell ,and she did just that. Most of the stuff was common silver coins and wheat cents and stuff but While going through it I came upon an envelope, that she told me I didn't need to look at because they were all damaged and worthless and she was going to throw them in her change jar.

Something told me to look anyway and I'm glad I did (and so was she when I gave her prices for her "damaged and worthless coins")

A cool counter brockage roosevelt dime

A delamination 1913 s buffalo nickel

2 misaligned obverse die cents

A really cool 1883 v nickel that someone attempted to make a racketeer nickel that was a split planchet. Wish it didn't have the hole

A roosevelt dime struck through some kind of junk Grease maybe?

And a struck on split planchet cent error

Nothing crazy rare but a nice find over the standard blank planchet or errors that aren't really errors. She was pleased especially thinking they were junk.

Was reluctant to open another thread of parking lot finds.

    Glad I did, neat!

Q: When does a collector become a numismatist?

A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.

A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.

Very nice coins! These deserve to be slabbed with TrueViews.

Love the Buff lamination, Roosie brockage and others!

Good examples for errors, that are uncommonly found. I've never encountered one of any kind in my 66 years in the wild - YET.

Super examples on the Buffalo and Liberty nickel. Nice find.

Very good errors! For best value, do not let the piece fall off the buffalo.

Nice to find before they were tossed into circulation.
