I just saw this very cool double-struck and rotated half cent on Eye Appealing Coins website. I'm not sure how to post a TrueView but the cert number is 44910864. Hopefully someone can post the pic.

Thank you Luke. I don't know about whether or not it has a de-lamination. I have not seen the coin in hand.

Boffo!!!
Matches this 1809 Double Struck Bust half that I have always drooled over. It would be cool to assemble some kind of denomination set of visually appealing 90 degree double strikes.

Hand placed blank, then screw press hand struck & rotated restruck and then hand removed = SHENANIGANS
Its funny that some cannot believe that the so-called Midnight Mint didn't exist way back when. People are people and messing around whether it be for a profit or a thrill must have always existed. But these types are fun and interesting to collect so we do
I don’t think that is lamination but rather struck through a piece of cloth or debris. One way to tell the difference is how “smooth” the area appears.
there all way cool coin, i like
very cool error coin
The ‘Midnight Mint’ has been in operation for over two centuries, although pre-1840 intentionally struck fantasies and mint errors are scarcer than those struck later on.
