I don't know who you shipped with but usps is beyond awful anymore. 10 days for a small envelope from San Diego to Missouri that finally arrived today.
Problems happen I would just wait it out most of the time all goes OK. If not then you should insure your packages to get peace of mind no matter the outcome.
Do not OCD over it do not check the tracking multiple times per day just let it go in your mind for 5-7 days then check again. I speak from experience no point driving yourself mad it only ruins your day when there are no updates.
I had a packing shipping from Pennsylvania to Iowa. It ended up in Puerto Rico. However, it eventually got to Iowa about a week later. I wouldn't worry about it. It will make its way back there.
USPS has a lot of ridiculous routing errors but I have literally never had a package permanently lost in 25 years.
Good luck... agree lost items are rare.

Yep, Not a single lost parcel for me in last 30 years. Unlike Fedex who has succeed in losing 2 of my packages in the past 30 days. Both times I told Vendor do not use Fedex as they seem unable to actually deliver anything destined for my address. I called both vendors told them "I told you so" then as in now my MO filed disputes with my Credit Card provider. I've never lost a single dispute and its so much easier than attempting to deal with vendors/sellers/retailers plus the id10t's at Fedex. Membership does indeed have its privileges

I've had three packages lost in the last 5 weeks. I'm in the process of filing claims now
I had a package of eight (8) cards all PSA-8 sent for review to PSA: 1955 Aaron, 1960 Yaz RC, 1960 McCovey RC, 1962 Maris, 1963 Frank Robinson, 1965 Rose, 1967 Perez, and a 1968 Nolan Ryan RC. It was my 1st submission sent to PSA. I transposed the 2nd and 3rd digits of the zip code sent via USPS. Unfortunately…it still was a valid zip code which is the first info that USPS looks at. It ended up at a military post office in South Korea. A military person must have recognized that it could be sportscards and kept it rather than honestly returning the package. I consider this monetary gift my military service. There was no way of getting the package back once in the hands of the federal government. I was told that the USPS did its job by correctly delivering the package to the matching zip code. I replaced all cards but the Maris in a higher grade.
Not sure that I shared this story because it is quite embarrassing!
Only use Fed Ex! I do now…
Everyone has different luck. Fedex for me is toxic. Too many "lost" packages the past 10 years. Including 2 Comic Book submissions on their way home from CGC . That was last year, I've since obtained a PO Box to force CGC to use USPS
I've never had a single issue with USPS. As mentioned everyone has different Luck.
It will eventually show up at your place.> @mintonlypls said:
When you state all 8 cards were PSA 8s and you sent them to PSA for review I am confused. If they were actually PSA 8s then what was there for them to review? Were the 8 cards in your opinion expecting to being 8s and hoping to be graded PSA 8? Those are some very desirable cards....especially a PSA 8 62 Maris' or a PSA 8 Ryan. Sad story about the shipping fiasco.
I delivered for FedEx during the holidays two years ago. I had a LOT of mail that was USPS originated.
Not a fan of how FedEx does things.
I was trying for a bump to a PSA-8.5…
I'm curious, did your shipment ever get to SGC?

Yes---arrived 12/6...All is good!
I once sent a package San Antonio to NY and it went thru Germany!
Go figure?
Happy to hear everything's good Claude.
