I may be late to the party but I just noticed the optional AI button underneath the description box on the listing page. It will take your words and write the description of your item in that clear, precise AI style. To try it out I took a simple but sufficient description of a Civil War token:

Civil War Patriotic 244/381, Remembrance Of 1863, copper, 19mm, xf, old cleaning

and then let AI do its magic:

"Own a piece of history with this Civil War Patriotic 244/381 Remembrance Of 1863 copper token. Measuring 19mm and in excellent condition with XF grading, this token has been well-preserved despite its age. The token has undergone a previous cleaning, giving it a polished look that enhances its intricate design. Add this unique piece to your collection of Exonumia and Coins & Paper Money."

I think I'll stick with my flowerless, bland facts, just the facts verbiage. (I was afraid to try a detailed description of a classic European medal as I knew I would be overwhelmed.)

FYI - I found a quirk in another fairly recent eBay improvement. When you upload your images you have the option of removing the background leaving the image on a plain white page. If you use that removal tool on an encased coin or a bimetal token or pattern, the tool also removes the coin or the center of the token leaving a nice metal doughnut image for your auction.

I used AI today for some. Took out a couple sentence and added some on a couple listings. What bugged me was a few times while or after 4 pictures uploaded and working on the rest, the screen went blank reloaded where I was without the pictures

It actually would be better to use Bard or ChatGPT to write the descriptions. You can also train the AI to use your own writing style if you have GPT4.0
