1968 OPC Koosman/Ryan PSA 1

A seller in Canada put this up for auction and ended up selling for a little over $1600 U.S Dollars, a price similar to what a Topps PSA 6 has been selling for. Great price for a low grade OPC! Curious what a mid grade Ryan OPC would sell for in a major auction and not Ebay.

Wow, that is a solid price for a 1. the OPC are so much more scarce than the topps. perhaps that knowledge is coming to the mainstream!!

@Mikeygiggs_336699 I think OPC baseball is finally getting its recognition. The Ryan rookie is certainly a rare card that rarely comes up for sale. I remember in 2021 seeing a raw copy that would have probably graded a PSA 1 sell for $1200. This strong price is good news for the hobby.

I picked up this one around 10 years ago. I wonder what it would be worth today?

My guess would be 25k. A dealer at the recent Toronto Sport Card Expo had a PSA 8 in his showcase had a sticker price of 75k. Very nice card!

Holy Cow. I guess I am glad I purchased before people started recognizing OPC as important. I have been picking them up for 30 years now hoping eventually people would understand how rare they are.
