The FUN show rules allow people to share a booth. Do you know anyone who wants to share one?

Please let me know. Thanks

With a stranger who joined the community 2 days ago to make this request? Seems unlikely, but good luck.

    From the bourse application:

"Each applicant may share his table(s) with one additional independent dealer, provided the table sharing is registered with FUN and the independent dealer and employees, if any, are registered with FUN for the convention and the obligations of FUN required of each vendor are agreed to. The applicant assumes all responsibility, financial or otherwise, for all transactions conducted by such independent dealer and any other person behind his table and recognizes by signing this application that others will have the right to rely on this representation as third party beneficiaries to this Agreement."

I'm sorry, but I just cannot believe anyone would get involved with a stranger under these conditions.

  • Thanks for your comment NJ. I am not looking for a partnership or do to any business together. I will purchase the booth but we will not conduct any mutual business.

Understood. But, under FUN's rules, you will be entering into a partnership, and all your business will be mutual business, but only to the extent there are any problems, since "[t]he applicant assumes all responsibility, financial or otherwise, for all transactions conducted by such independent dealer and any other person behind his table and recognizes by signing this application that others will have the right to rely on this representation as third party beneficiaries to this Agreement."

People are just very unlikely to do this with a stranger. A ton of risk, with the only upside being splitting a table fee they already committed to, and don't need any help with. But, again, good luck. Maybe someone will be charitable and willing to give a stranger a helping hand. Just realize that it's a huge ask, even though it might not seem like it.
