Why hasn't the "when you edit your post, it disappears" bug been fixed?

It's a rather frustrating thing to happen: You post, find a typo, edit to fix, and you get a "your post will appear when it has been approved" message, which is meaningless, since your post never will appear.

It would be nice if it were fixed.

The thread didn't disappear; the post showing the fifth entry disappeared. And I can't re-post until a couple of days hence. No big deal, but annoying.

I did notice that the post disappeared as I saw it when it was first there. That is annoying. Luckily the rest of the thread is still there. It has been a fun journey following your progress!

It's never happened to me. Does your post contain some links or special files?

If you edit a post soon after making it (and especially if you edit it twice soon after making it), it's gone.

Others have commented on this not-so-charming feature.

It's happened to me on multiple occasion and can be extremely frustrating.
