Dealer list for a coin show

I am going to the coin show Dec 9th in Annandale, VA. There is a dealer list posted. I have a few hard to find coins I am looking for, how do I go about figuring out what dealers may have them?

Use google to try and find the websites of the dealers on the list. As a generalization, the larger dealers will post their inventory.

Separately, go to collectorscorner.com, and use their tremendous filtering system. It can be ok if you know what you’re doing to buy coins from dealers who have what you want with the eye appeal you want, that are not at that show.

Try coinzip.com click on "Virginia" and find show listed for Annandale, Va. list of dealers is already on web page.

  • I’ve only been to that show once, but I’m also planning to attend in Dec. It seemed like many of the dealers were a bit smaller, and don’t have much of an online presence. It’s a fun show, though, and I’m looking forward to attending again.

If I were you, I’d try calling Wayne Herndon (there’s a phone number on his website https://wayneherndon.com/). He seemed to have one of the biggest selections of coins there, and he may be able to help you track down the coins you are looking for.

I did that, how do I go about figuring out what dealers may have what I am looking for. Most do not have websites

It’ll be work, but maybe call or email a few that you think may have what you want? Otherwise, what alternative is there? The good news is it’s probably a small enough show that you’ll have plenty of time that morning to visit each booth!

If u already plan to go why not go to the show and browse... I always found the fun is in the chase. I would also suggest that u print up your contact info and want list and leave it with selected dealers that may be in a position to find the pieces elsewhere if you come up empty at the show. I believe dealers maybe more interested to help with a want list if you connect personally.

    Happy hunting.

Check Great Collections website/auction site. Most of the coins listed are readily available there with photos (not great pictures but they suffice).
