What are some thoughts on the color of this little guy?

Ask again in a few months. Whatever color it has today is possibly going to change because of the way you are holding it. Oils, acids, and salts in your skin will damage the surface.

Thanks for the important info.
I'll keep an eye on it and see if the
color does change. I did put it in a flip protector right after I took the picture.

No opinion on color but noted the A and M in America seem weakly struck compared to the other letters.
