I'm guessing it's a counterfeit but without any pics, it's only a guess.

Pictures would be a great help but if you want a guess,
I will say counterfeit until you prove me wrong.
If you think it might be a pattern, it's counterfeit.

The last year for that design was 1839. So even if it looked genuine - which is clearly doesn’t - it couldn’t be a pattern.

Pretty decent counterfeit except for the damage at 12 and 6 o'clock. May have been made for jewelry purposes.
