    Not a die clash, the letter transfer is from another coin pushed into it. (commonly called a vise job) ;)

    I honestly do not know. Fred would know, it looks to me, I could be 100% wrong, like a double strike.

    Not a double strike or die clash.
    Looks like a dropped letter from the “U” in UNITED on the obverse.

    as everyone else has said – it is not a die clash
    Although it looks like it could be a dropped letter, I don’t believe this is the case
    I see some rim damage in that area, and although the photos are hard to interpret exactly,
    I think ifthevamzarockin probably has it right - contact with another coin
