1887o tiny 7
I am new to collecting and have an 1887o Morgan. When I look at the date, I swear that I can see a half sized 7 to the left of the normal 7. I can’t find anything online about such an (error?). Has anyone heard of this? I’m sorry I don’t have any pictures but it is so small that my phone can’t zoom in enough

Just curious without showing a photo of what you see, how do you expect anyone to answer your question. I do not say that to be snarky, serious question.

Welcome to the forum!
Best chance that it's some type of PMD that looks like a 7
A little hard to say without photos but there is no known error like that on a Morgan.0 -

Are we absolutely positive that he does not have a VAM-2?
I tried to post a link to the VAMworld photos but the CU Forum is being difficult today.

Thank you all, my wife could not see it and swore it was pareidolia but I was so sure I saw it that I wanted to rule out known errors. The info on vamworld is very helpful thank you
