Offered for sale is this 1838-O half dime. This piece has XF-AU sharpness which is very difficult to find on an 1838-O, even details. Unfortunately the coin is corroded, most likely a metal detector find.
I'm offering this one for just $185 shipped. An NGC XF-deets mount removed brought $653 on Ebay. Hopefully this should be a good deal for someone building a Half Dime set.
