And Yet Two More New Florida Shows

Walkerguy21DWalkerguy21D Posts: 11,521 ✭✭✭✭✭

I was given these flyers yesterday.

The New Smyrna show is first one held in this town, I was told.

The Clearwater/ St Pete show was an older show I used to attend, in various locations. It used to be held 4th of July weekend. I think it was canceled for several years, but some of the locals may know for sure. The last one I attended was up at Innisbrook at least 4-5 years ago.
Whether this is an extension of that show or all new, I don’t know.

At what point will the number of shows reach an over saturation point I wonder.

I assume never if public attendance is lite, make that if both dealer and public attendance is lite.

We need some in Appalachia! We never have shows in upper east Tennessee, western North Carolina or southwest Virginia! Its a coin show desert here!

New Smyrna Beach brings back memories of golfing at Sugar Mill the very first year it was constructed way back in the 70's and they had no clubhouse, just a 20x20 trailer and plenty of crocs and snakes off the fairways too.

Almost any weekend here in SE Michigan within 30 minutes from Detroit limits. They've been running for years.

I like going to the Florida shows / setting up, the big money coming into the bourse room, strong sales, hearing current market shop talk. But not a fan of lots of travel.
