MDC Mexico - 1898 Culiacan Peso

Ok, you all are a bad influence. I got crushed at the recent MDC Monaco auction but got a mini consolation prize - whatcha think?

Nice coin. And I do not think the issue is that easy.

I have learned that I will be disappointed with a consolation prize. And it's happened more than I care to admit.

Now I go all-in+++ on my main prize, and if I still don't get it, I save for the next main prize.

But your coin is still a decent win as long as it fits your collection.

    I like that approach !

I manage money. I earn money. I save money .
I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.

LOL, well I collect pre-decimal British copper and silver (and the odd Br. Colonial) but have a few Caballito, etc. and a few pesos of the earlier cap and rays as I love the beauty and simplicity of the design - not trying to be a set completer or topper.
