Well, you can set them into your 1911 stocks!
I was actually looking for two 1911 $2.5 Indians in junk condition, but no luck and I wasn't about to ruin two good ones.

Super 1911. I notice the details. Looks like an aftermarket bushing on there as well as the obvious. Well done. I have a 4-digit 1911 (not A1) beater and an STI 4.15 Tactical with a TLR-2 hanging off it and accuracy/trigger work done here in SLC.
Great idea on the dimes . . . .

I have just a couple of 1911s...

Hang on to them and if any one should try to steal either of those, plug ‘em.
I'd hate to be the panhandler who asks you, "buddy, can you spare a dime?".![:o :o](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/open_mouth.png)
I like the springfield armory brand as well
OUTSTANDING craftsmanship and fabrication @Lazybones!

Excellent idea. Love the look, never would have thought to do that!

I like it!!
Difficult to acquire these in the northern lands where King Trudeau rules over us lowly peasants.

My competition 1911 does not have a large enough rampart logo to put a dime into (1947). That looks cool for sure.![:) :)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)

Very cool idea!
I will tell you what to do with them-simply send them to me.![:) :)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Hey folks,
Let's keep the discussion on US Coins.
It is starting to veer off track to be a gun post, lets get back to coins.
Thanks
I agree. It's fitting and correct.
Makes the .45 look great.
Over 18 million were minted, so I don't think it hurts to display it like that.

Circ Barber 10c? I just put them in 2x2 then price accordingly.
I’ll have to look for a few 1911 dimes for my 1945 model. I had over 50 1911 $2 1/2 Indians that would have looked nice as well.![](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/editor/l7/j7gow17bxqy8.jpeg)
