What one thing tells us you're spending too much time searching for coins on Ebay..............
For me that's easy, as I can identify most of the large sellers based solely on their coin picture in their listing.

In my area of collecting seen almost never any new coins on a daily basis. But I still check a few time per day anyways just in case and it has paid off over time.

I'll check out sold/ended listings and when I see an item I obviously missed out I get mad at myself.
Why I continue this behavior when all it does is dial in pain is beyond my comprehension yet here I am, doing it again.

When you see 149 items are ending soon on your watchlist.
There are ways to get the buyer ID so you can negotiate the purchase of the coin, if realistic. That strategy has been successful a few times and has paid off big time.

I think I have more coins on my watch list than in my collection. I just can't help myself.
I would spend less time if they only had the coins that I need.
That can be quite upsetting, looking at all the big fish that got away without your knowing. This one blew my mind recently.

I register the variety and grade of every silver dollar for most series on eBay into the SSDC Registry. I am at the point where I already can predict the cert numbers before I open up a lot. If I open it at all that is (often too obvious to waste the click). Same with Collector's Corner, Great Collections, Heritage, Stack's, etc.
