Hey @OAKSTAR, how come you never mentioned your toilet was stolen out of your house?

Four men have been charged with stealing a fully functioning 18-karat gold toilet in 2019. The toilet was a work of art created by Italian conceptual artist Maurizio Cattelan. He dubbed the toilet "America" and said it was a work of satire about the excessive wealth held by Americans.
The toilet was installed at Blenheim Palace, the English mansion where Winston Churchill was born. While it was on display, visitors could book a three-minute appointment to use the golden toilet.
However, the toilet's display was short-lived after a group of thieves stole it just two days after it was installed. Officials said that theft caused severe water damage to the building because the toilet was hooked up to the mansion's plumbing system.
While authorities had previously detained seven people over the theft, no charges were filed until Monday (November 7).
The Crown Prosecution Service identified the four suspects as James Sheen, 39; Michael Jones, 38; Fred Doe, 35; and Bora Guccuk.
Sheen was charged with burglary, conspiracy to transfer criminal property, and transferring criminal property. Jones was charged with burglary. Doe and Guccuk were each charged with conspiracy to transfer criminal property.
Investigators have not recovered the golden toilet, and officials are doubtful they will find it.

This reminds me of an old joke. I borrowed this from the internet with a slight modification so that I didn't have to retype the whole thing.
A man goes out drinking one night and gets blackout drunk. He wakes up the next morning to discover that he has lost his credit card. He has to get it back, but he got so drunk he doesn't remember the name of the bar where he lost it. The only thing he remembers is that the bar had a golden toilet.
The man walks down the street going from bar to bar, asking each bartender, "I know this is a weird question, but do you happen to have a golden toilet here?" "A golden toilet? I don't think so," the bartender said, giving him a strange look. The man walked into another bar,"Excuse me, you don't happen to have a golden toilet here, do you?" said the man. "A golden toilet, huh? Don't be ridiculous."
This continues all day until finally the man walks into a bar all the way on the other side of town. He asks the bartender: "Excuse me, I know this is going to sound strange, but do you have a golden toilet here? I got really drunk last night and left my credit card at a bar with a golden toilet." The bartender smiles, turns around and yells, "Hey Fred, I think we found the guy who took a dump in your tuba!"

It wasn't gold, it was copper and covered in Verdigris. 😂 🤣

Wonder how many pounds of gold bars it produced after it was melted down?

Somebody's gonna have a very cold behind.
Wonder how much that cost? Just think about the worker that had to clean it after every use![:D :D](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
" visitors to the exhibition could book a three-minute appointment to use it."

Nope, it was offered to him but he didn't want it, after all, it was "only" 18k.
Snippet from an internet article:
" It was even once offered to former president Donald Trump"

That's a sh*tty thing to do!
