Question about markings on 1997 P quarter under nose

Hi all! First post to the forum. I found a 1997 P quarter recently with odd scratch marks that appear to be part of the minting process (I say this because the nose above the marks is unaffected- photo attached). Does anyone have any more info about this anomaly? Is there any uniqueness to it that would make it worth holding on to?

Heavy die polish by the looks of it. Could bring a small premium.

First post - welcome! And a real anomaly, no less!
That die was heavily polished, right down to the eye area.
Probably not much value (a few $ ?) but definitely a keeper.
Welcome to the forum
As stated, just an overpolished die. Seeing it is on the die, there would be many more out there
the same, depends on at what stage of the dies life it was polished.
Also in, the future, please include a complete photo of both sides of the coin along with the closeup.
Howdy and welcome.
It could be die polish, but it would help us a bit more if you didn't only provide such high magnification images. Perhaps add an image of the coin not so blown up?

Thanks all! Here are photos of the coin. You can see the lines even extend behind the head.
Nice photos of the above coin 🪙
I think they are feeder-finger scrapes on the die
Feeder Finger damage.
After seeing the whole coin, I will change from overpolishing to feeder finger damage.
Seeing the whole coin makes a big difference in diagnosing.
Some examples:
George seems to have a deviated septum.
Don't often see feeder finger die damage on newer coinage.

Thanks everyone! One day here and I'm already learning stuff!!!
