Poor defense. The pitcher should have caught that ball.
i pitched in Little League. I presumed every pitched ball could be hit back at me, and was ready for that possibility. Never had a problem, and snagged a number of line drives hit my way.
This pitcher seemed surprised that the ball was coming at him. Not a very smart way to pitch if ya want to stay healthy.
He did almost catch it - with his teeth!
