All inclusive Registry &/or Type set thread?

johnny010johnny010 Posts: 1,758 ✭✭✭✭✭

Was thinking instead of creating a "here's my Registry/type set" why not create a thread where everyone can chronicle your own sets in one thread and when you finish you post a photo of all your coins? Reason? If everyone posts your coins into one thread as you work on the sets, it will be relevant much longer than if say if you post your own individual thread.

This thread would be relevant for everyone's Registry/type set that you are building nothing excluded. Only requirement would be 1) tell the story of the coin and why it's important 2) update us on your ranking as you go (if Registry) and 3) when you finish show a photo with them all together.

No I want my own thread

I think we have enough mega-threads already, IMO this one would fade into obscurity after a couple of weeks. Besides, sometimes we just want to have our own thread where many people can share their opinions on our coins.

True but that section is there for registry related posts, not everyone here participates in the registry as evidenced by the lower level of traffic in the registry section. And it has been my observation that many registry participants prefer to keep their moves a secret, I know that I usually do not advertise my purchases or registry additions too often.

I did not vote as I barely participate in the PCGS registry, so it really matters not to me.

Mr Spud; Nice type set. Looks like you started at 1800 like I did mine. Great accomplishment.

    Have a good day, Gary
