Anyone here collect antique toys?

FrankHFrankH Posts: 701 ✭✭✭✭✭

I used to. I still have some and would like to sell at auction but have had a VERY bad experience with a house that SUPPOSEDLY was a good antique toy auctioneer.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Post or PM is fine. :)

I am still stuck in their complex registration. Apparently, I registered years ago and the email/s I used are still in the system. I will have to call them. Trying again with other emails has been frustrating but they are a good place. :)

Except that they catalogued it in the wrong section, did not promote at all and ended up with an idiotic hammer price. :s
I think Bertoia knows HOW to catalog toys.

The company also made a baseball and horse racing version. An older football version I once had had a metal player who the the punter/kicker. You put the "football" in the slot and released the spring loaded arm to "kick" the ball.
